Data Object
Introduction
Data Object elements MUST be contained within Process or SubProcess elements. Data Object elements are visually displayed on a Process diagram. Data Object References are a way to reuse Data Objects in the same diagram. They can specify different states of the same Data Object at different points in a Process.

Model Id | Text | Model Id identifies the element within the process model. | The model id, name and documentation properties can be found on any element. They are used respectively to uniquely identify the data object, to give the data object a user-friendly name and to add a free-form description. |

Documentation | Multiline Text | A free-form text that can be used to explain details about the particular element. | |
Data object type | Selection:
| Defines if the data object is an input or output. | Defines what kind of data object this is and whether it is a collection. |
Is collection | Boolean | Defines if the data object is a collection. |

Include in history | Boolean | When the history level is set to "instance" or "task" level with this property it can be configured if this activity instance should be included in the historic activity data. | The Include in history flag can be used to store the historical entry of this data object when running with a history level that normally would not store the execution of the data object. Note that this flag has no effect when running with history level 'none'. |
