Model Templates

Flowable Design includes a feature that allows users to mark any model as a template. This features enhances efficiency by enabling the reuse of predefined models, ensuring consistency and saving time during the creation of new models.

Marking a Model as a Template​

  • Search for the model you want to use as template in the model overview
  • Open the model properties for your model
  • Select the option "Use as template". This flag designates the model as a reusable template.

Template Availability​

  • Templates can be created from models in both shared and system workspaces.

Creating a new model from an existing template​

  • When creating a new model, you will have the option to select from existing templates.
  • Choose the desired template from the list. This action will create a copy of the selected template, which you can then modify as needed.
